Revised Content:
[Deodorant] Prepare a 2% lavender oil solution by mixing 12 drops of lavender oil per ounce of water in a small spritzer spray bottle. Add a few drops of botanical/castile soap to help the oil and water blend. Use this solution as you would any spray deodorant. For the best results, keep the solution unfiltered, undiluted, and unadulterated.
[Shampoo] Add a few drops of lavender oil to your shampoo bottle, then stir or shake well. This will result in fresher-smelling hair and a clean, well-conditioned scalp.
[Dilution Recommendations] For body care products like masks or oils, a 1% or less dilution is recommended. For massage oils and other leave-on body products, a 2% dilution is recommended. For other rinse-off bath and body products, a 3% dilution is recommended.
[Shower] Run hot water in the shower and sprinkle a few drops of lavender oil on the floor or walls, outside of the direct water stream. The heat and steam will vaporize the lavender oil, creating a relaxing experience. For a more stimulating effect, use peppermint oil instead.
[Bath] As the bath water is running, add 5-10 drops of lavender oil along with a small amount of bath soap to help the oil and water mix.
[Foot Bath] Prepare a 2% lavender oil solution in warm water. Add a few drops of botanical or castile soap to facilitate the oil and water blending, and consider including epsom salts. Soak your feet for 5-10 minutes, then gently brush around the cuticles and nails with a soft brush.
[Lip Balm] Mix a few drops of lavender oil per teaspoon of fractionated coconut oil, which will serve as the carrier. Warm the coconut oil to make the mixing process easier. Use this homemade mixture as a soothing chapstick for chapped lips or hands.
[Facial Cleanse] Brew a strong cup of your favorite herbal tea, such as chamomile. In a small dispenser bottle, combine 1/4 cup of liquid castile soap, 1/2 teaspoon of olive, rosehip, or other light carrier oil, 10 drops of tea tree oil, and enough tea to make a total of 4 ounces. You can also add a few drops of vitamin E oil, if desired. Mix well and use this solution to cleanse your face by working it into a wet washcloth, then rinsing.
All the products mentioned are 100% Natural, Vegan, and Cruelty-free. They are bottled in the USA and contain no Sulfates, Parabens, or Phthalates.
